Y'know, I really like the roundness actually. Throws back to why I liked the original MJOLNIR ever since the first game, it looks more like an armored spacesuit rather than a small mech. 343i talked about how the H4 redesign of the armor tried to make Master Chief look like a cross between a tank and a fighter jet, but I find myself preferring the design as an astronaut that's been hardened for combat instead. I can see the appeal of angles, but this has a great aesthetic too!

Great interpretations by the way. I tried to determine if some were supposed to be direct redesigns of helmet styles from the series or if it seemed more like your own bash of ideas unrelated to any of the specific previous designs, and it's a good toss up. I can see definite similarities that could identify them as CQC, EVA, MkV, etc., but it in no way looks like you just filed the edges off the originals.
